In this study, 10 female subjects (mean age 42.2 years and mean body mass index 24.3kg/m2) received two treatments for each flank with 50% overlap. Photographic evaluation showed 43% improvement in reducing fat bulges on average in a follow-up after three months without significant side effects (40).
